Unifying our rich cultural heritage
Naturally, our Korean and Trinidadian background inspired a fun and caring community culture. We shaped our culture around the concepts of Korean “Jeong” and Trini “Liming”.
Jeong
In Korean culture, “Jeong” refers to an emotional and spiritual bond that unites all people and transforms the division of “them” into “we”. It is the heart of humanity or the oneness that people feel, or it is as simple as sharing your meal with the stranger next to you.
Liming
In Trinidadian culture, a “Lime” is a gathering where community members regularly come together to eat, dance, and share their lives, forming genuine bonds with their neighbors. Limes are so deeply ingrained in the culture that homes are even designed with liming in mind!
Art, nature, experiential learning, and community building were transformational experiences in our lives, bringing deep restoration from the inside out. We were compelled to share this restorative work with our community. What started off as a small writing community, flourished into a health and wellness cooperative.
We often say “Together we can do anything.”

Faith in Action Mindfully
Our values reflect those of a community founded by a mission-driven family, and the way we choose to lead our lives. We believe that a family mindset establishes lasting genuine relationships, supports diverse thinkers and spreads love.
Faith
We are a family with integrity who believes in the things unseen with faith in action.
We practice self control to find solutions together. We grow our compassion, not our judgement.
Action
We take action because it is in the doing that we become.
What can I do to better myself and my community? How will my action impact me and my community?
Mindful
Our mindset emphasizes critical reflection, social / emotional growth, and self-awareness.

Founders
My love for people and building relationships naturally led me to community building. Some of my greatest joys are seeing a group of people strive for a common goal and achieve it together, and learn about themselves along the way.
Wherever I see a possibility or an idea, I enjoy acting upon it.
Today, I utilize my skills in design, research, and communication to build communities and lead teams in both the public and private sectors. A mentor of mine once said, "I am an artist who cares," and I take that sentiment to heart in everything I do.

Dr. Morris has served as a staff physician at Children's Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, New Jersey. He is the senior physician at New Jersey Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Morris is unique in today’s world of medicine. Most specialists look at one area of the body, whereas Dr. Morris takes the time to consider the entire landscape of symptoms and conditions. He uses a patient’s history, comprehensive intake interview, and a comprehensive complete physical exam to determine what treatment is needed. Rather than just treat symptoms, he works to understand the origin of the problem, and uses that as a pathway toward resolution. Dr. Morris devotes 100% of his practice to his specialty in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) and Cranial Osteopathy. He uses manual manipulations to diagnose and treat patients noninvasively. He is currently the only traditional osteopath in New Jersey with Board Certification in Pediatrics. OMM is beneficial for people of all ages from newborns to mature adults.
Dr. Morris has two sons, Ethan and Julian.
